Within the last few weeks, Ms. Debbie at our Mountain View location has been teaching our students about the life cycle of a chicken!
She attained fertilized eggs from a local farm and placed them in an incubator. Most eggs take about 21 days to hatch if they do hatch. Unfortunately, our specific eggs did not hatch, so Ms. Debbie returned to the farm and adopted three amazingly cute chicks, which she named Magnolia, Dottie, and Basil.
The children not only learn the life cycle of a chicken; Egg-Chick-Chicken, but they also learn the responsibility of caring for a pet.
In addition, they learn to feed, love, and clean up after the chicks.
